Tomorrow....

Tomorrow, I will be making oranges using Lightwave Modeler. Today, I made an abstract version of a banana and colored it in with Modeler. Overall, I need a lot of practice and patience to work with multimedia design programs and tools....

Picture It is a great tool for students with disabilities and other students as well. Here, the teacher can create sentences and put graphic images over the sentences and audio to see and hear what is written.

Software Review of I Love Math!

I Love Math! is a program where you can practice lots of different math for 2nd to 5th graders. It has questions created by the program developer and has a progress report after doing each activity segment.

Review of Starfall

Starfall is another great website to visit. Here kids can learn basic reading to higher levels of reading. There are virtual characters that move and can read the story to you if you want. It also includes worksheets.

Review of Activities for ESL Students

Activies for ESL Students is a great resource for ESOL students and educators to stop by and take fun learning quizzes, vocabulary, and grammar. You can also listen to podcasts.

Review of Social Studies for Kids

Social Studies for Kids is a website by a social studies educator who updates a lot about social studies. Here you can find history, sports, government, and other subject matter. A great resource for a report.

Review of Aplusmath

Aplusmath is another great site to visit. Here students, parents, and teachers can find general and advanced math to do. It's very kid friendly and is highly recommended.
