An Example of a Short Tall Tale

Adam the ape, Alvin the armadillo, and Alex the alligator decided to go to Alberto, Alabama to get some apple juice from a grocery store. People in the grocery store were surprised to see the unlikely group of animals walking hand in hand together. The three friends just said “hello” to everyone that stared at them and got the apple juice they wanted. “We are not dangerous. We just came here to buy apple juice,” said Adam. So, they gave the grocery store cashier two dollars and off they went to have some apple juice in the park.
